The 4th Korea-Australia Foreign and Defence Ministers’ 2+2 Meeting
Republic of Korea Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kang Kyung-wha and Minister of National Defense, Jeong Kyeong-doo with Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Marise Payne and Minister for Defence, Linda Reynolds held the 4th Korea-Australia Foreign and Defence Ministers’ 2+2 Meeting in Sydney, Australia.
Foreign and defence ministers visited the Korean War Memorial located in Moore Park, Sydney and took part in wreathlaying. They also expressed gratitude to the Australian soldiers who died in the Korean War for their sacrifice. The two sides expressed their shared intent to increase mutual cooperation on diplomacy, security, defence, permanent peace and stability on Korean peninsula, etc. and issued a joint statement.
