Consul-General attends Sister-City Celebration at Bressington Park

On Monday 23rd May 2016, Consul-General Yoon visited Bressington Park Korean Garden in Strathfield, New South Wales, to celebrate the Sister-City Relationship between Gapyeong County in Korea and Strathfield. A flag-raising ceremony was held by the lake, and Consul-General Yoon discussed the bilateral strategic and diplomatic relationship, active local exchanges, immigration between our societies, and the contribution to economic and social development in Australia. Mr Craig Laundy MP, Federal Member for Reid and Assistant Minister for Multicultural Affairs; Ms Jodi McKay MP, State Member for Strathfield; the Mayor and Councilors from Strathfield City Council and officials from Gapyeong County; and members of the Sydney Korean Society were in attendance.
