On April 12, 2019 Korean Peninsula Peace Forum was held at Chatham House.
Ambassador Enna Park told the Forum that the recent resumption of dialogue with North Korea has opened a hard-earned and long awaited window of opportunity for peace that the two Koreas, the United States and the international community as a whole must seize. She also called on the participants to gather their wisdom and join the Republic of Korea in its efforts to make a break through and pave the way forward to achieve denuclearization and a lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula.
Professor Chung-in Moon, special advisor to the President for unification and national security affairs, gave a keynote speech and answer questions from the audience. After the Forum, the speakers were invited to Ambassador’s residence for dinner where they shared their opinions on the peace process on the Korean Peninsula.
