Statement by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Myanmar is monitoring with concern the recent political situation in Myanmar. The Embassy is of the view that the will and voice of the people of Myanmar expressed in the elections dated 8 November, 2020, should be fully honored by all concerned parties. Any grievances or disagreements should be resolved through established legal mechanism and political dialogue in a peaceful manner. The Embassy reaffirms the strong support of the Government of the Republic of Korea for Myanmar’s democratic transition, peace process, and inclusive economic development. The Embassy calls on all stakeholders to refrain from actions that will hurt the reform process and the interests of the people of Myanmar.
မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ တောင်ကိုရီးယားသံရုံးမှ ကြေငြာချက်

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ တောင်ကိုရီးယားသံရုံးသည် လတ်တလော မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ နိုင်ငံရေးအခြေအနေပေါ်တွင် များစွာသော စိုးရိမ်စိတ်ဖြင့် စောင့်ကြည့်လျက် ရှိပါသည်။ မိမိတို့ သံရုံးသည် ၂၀၂၀ခုနှစ် နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၈ရက်နေ့တွင် ကျင်းပခဲ့သော အထွေထွေရွေးကောက်ပွဲ၌ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားတို့ ထုတ်ဖော်ပြသခဲ့သော ဆန္ဒနှင့် အသံကို အပြည့်အဝ အသိအမှတ်ပြုရမည်ဟု လက်ခံထားပါသည်။ မည်သည့် မကျေနပ်ချက်နှင့် အငြင်းပွားမှုမျိုးကို မဆို တည်ဆဲဥပဒေကြောင်းနှင့် နိုင်ငံရေး ဆွေးနွေးမှုဖြင့်သာ ငြိမ်းချမ်းစွာ ဖြေရှင်းသင့်ပါသည်။ မိမိတို့ သံရုံးအနေဖြင့် ကိုရီးယားနိုင်ငံအစိုးရသည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ဒီမိုကရေစီ အသွင်ကူးပြောင်းခြင်း၊ ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးလုပ်ငန်းစဉ်၊ အထွေထွေ စီးပွားရေး ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုဆိုင်ရာ ကြိုးပမ်းအားထုတ်မှုများကို အခိုင်အမာ ထောက်ခံအားပေးကြောင်း အတည်ပြုပါသည်။ မိမိတို့သံရုံးသည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားများ၏ ပြုပြင်ပြောင်းလဲရေး လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များနှင့် အကျိုးစီးပွားအား ထိခိုက်နစ်နာစေမည့် မည်သည့် အပြုအမူမျိုးကိုမှ ဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်း မပြုပါရန် တာဝန်ရှိသူများအား တိုက်တွန်းလိုက်ပါသည်။
