* Online interview: 1st December (Tuesday) – 9th
December 2020 (Wednesday)
Eligibility:
1) The
contest is open to only Malaysians
whose mother tongue (or first language) is not Korean.
2) The
following persons are not eligible
to participate in the contest:
a) Have lived or studied in Korea for more than
six (6) months; and/or
b) Grand or First Prize winners of similar
contests held in 2018 or 2019; and/or
c) Have participated in any similar Korean
speech contest held in Malaysia for the year 2020

Topics and Evaluation:
1) My interesting experience about on-line
Korean language learning
2) My vision about the next 60 years of
friendship between Korea and Malaysia
3) My experience during COVID19 pandemic
a) Speeches shall not exceed five (5) minutes and shall be made extemporaneously
b) Evaluation Criteria:
(i) Content and organization (ii) Pronunciation and fluency
(iii) Grammar and vocabulary (iv) Stage presentation
Prizes:
1) 1 Grand Prize Winner: Round-trip air ticket** to Korea
& Korean Language Class Voucher (3 weeks)
at Seoul
National University
2) 1st Prize Winner for each level: Samsung
Tablet & Korean Language Class Voucher (2 weeks)
at Hanyang University
3) 2nd Prize Winner for each level: Study
allowance to Korea (RM1,500)
4) 3rd Prize Winner for each level: Samsung
Power bank
5) All final participants will receive a certificate, a
trophy and complimentary gift
* The
contest will follow strictly the SOP and only a total of 100 participants will
be allowed into the Hall.
