The OECD Financial Services Commission held the Inclusive Framework on BEPS meeting at the OECD headquarters on 29-30 January 2020 in order to explore solutions to tax challenges arising from digitalization. Ko Kwang-hyo, Director-General of the Individual and Corporate Income Bureau of the Ministry of the Economy and Finance in Korea, has been appointed a bureau member of Committee on Fiscal Affairs; he participated actively in the relevant discussions.
Moreover, the Korean Delegation to the OECD hosted a reception for participating delegates from 130 countries on 29 January. It was as an opportunity for public diplomacy to strengthen Korea’s international network in the tax field and to introduce Korean food and culture to the attendees.
