The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Romania held the reception to celebrate the National Foundation Day.
Despite of the bad weather, diplomatic corps and many Romanians who have shown great interest and affection to Korea came to congratulate our event.
Mr. Teodor Melescan, the President of the Senate, delivered a congratulatory message on behalf of the Romanian government, and it was a very meaningful moment to once again witness the strong strategic partnership between our two countries.
Also, Jeong Jong Su, a korean student majoring in ‘Nai,’ a Romanian traditional musical instrument, gave a special performance to celebrate this occasion. We could enjoy the beautiful melodies of “Lonely Shepered”, one of the most famous songs played by the world famous Nai Player Gheorge Zamfir, and “the Hymn of Death”, an old Korean song whose melody was borrowed from “Waves of the Danube River,” originally composed by the Romanian composer, Josif Ivanovici.
