The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bucharest invites all music lovers to an enchanting music experience, the “Korean Jazz Night”, in the presence of Ambassador Kim Yong Ho and together with Korean musician groups VAN PLEIN and SANGJARU, on November 18, 2019, 18:30, ARCUB (84-90 Lipscani Street, Bucharest), Sala de Spectacole/Sala Mare.
The event will feature VAN PLEIN and SANGJARU, two groups of musicians which will greet the Romanian audience with their most selected pieces, together with traditional and modern instruments. VAN PLEIN’s music is motivated by ordinary life, but is performed with bold expression, which combines various genres such as Jazz, Rock, Funk and Fusion into progressive beats. SANGJARU will present to the audience a broad music experience by blending modern and Korean traditional music, with Ajaeng, Janggu, Guitar, Geomungo and Yanggeum. Together, VAN PLEIN’s authentic groove and strong sound, and SANGJARU’s new sound out of traditional music, will definitely make your evening truly memorable!
During the short intermission, we will be offering small bites and soft drinks on the house! For more details on the event (poster and brochure), please check the Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/2572759496343555/.
