The Korean Embassy in the Sudan is pleased to announce that 2020 spring admission for the Graduate School of Korean Studies in the Academy of Korean Studies Master’s and Doctoral Degree.

<Scholarship>

◦ Tuition fees are fully waived for all international students.

◦ 65.2% of international students benefit from the Government Grant.

◦ Monthly stipend of 500,000KRW (for master’s degree students) or 750,000KRW (for doctoral degree students)

<Education>

◦ A 5:1 student-faculty ratio enables close one-on-one guidance of students by professors.

◦ Students are encouraged to participate in the AKS’ research projects because we, as an affiliate of a research institution, put a high value on links between research and education. 20% of our international students in a doctoral degree program took advantage of it and worked as RAs.

◦ Korean language courses specifically designed for academic purposes are provided free of charge.

<Environment>

◦ On-campus dormitory accommodations are available at the rate of 543,000KRW per semester(six months), double occupancy.
