2020 Global Korea Scholarship for Undergraduate Degrees
The Korean Government Scholarship Program for undergraduate degrees is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at higher educational institutions in Korea for Bachelor-level degrees, which in turn will contribute to promoting the international exchange in education and to deepening the mutual friendship among countries.
1. Total Number of Scholarship Available
ㅇ Nation quotas for Sweden: 2 (1 placement is reserved for overseas Korean)
2. Duration of Scholarship: 2020.03.01. ~ 2025.02.28.
ㅇ Preliminary Korean language course (1 year) + Undergraduate degree course (4 years)
3. Submission of Applications
ㅇ Deadline of Submission: Sunday, October 13, 2019
ㅇ Pleace of Submission (Post Address)

※ It must be written as <2020 GKS-Undergraduate Application> on the envelop.
4. Notice
ㅇ The total of 4 sets of application documents (1 set of the original & 3 sets of the photocopies) should be placed in separate envelopes. The original set must be marked as "Original" on its envelope. Recommendation letters shold be sealed by the recommenders and submitted with the seals unbroken.
ㅇ If the applicant fails to send in ALL THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS for the application, the applicant will automatically not pass the first round of selection. (Please check the "Checklist" in the attached guideline thoroughly before sending the applications.)
ㅇ Submitted documents will not be returned to the applicants.

5. Dates of Announcement and Interview
ㅇ1st Round Selection: Result will be communicated personally by e-mail by 2019.10.18.(Fri.)
ㅇ Interview for 2nd Round Selection: 2019.10.21. or 2019.10.22. at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Sweden
ㅇ 2nd Round Selection: Result will be communicated personally by e-mail by 2019.10.30.(Wed.)
