1. Student (D-2) / Korean Language Training (D-4)

  • Required documents : General Required Documents, A copy of Certificate of Admission from the University in Korea, Certificate of business registration copy from the University in Korea

  • Those who are not going to one of the certified universities and colleges (about 100 major schools in Korea; please call to verity the list) should also submit the following four documents:

  • Official sealed transcript or diploma

  • Bank balance statement (the minimum required balance will follow the amount specified on your certificate of admission)

  • Student exchange agreement between universities (Exchange Students only)

  • Recommendation letter issued by the head of your university in your home country (Exchange Students only)

2. English Instructor (E-2)

  • Teacher at an English Academy with Visa Issuance number

  • Required documents : General Required Documents

  • EPIK and TALK applicant

  • Required documents : General Required Documents, with

  • EPIK - Notice of Appointment Original and a copy, Employment Contract

  • TALK - Invitation Letter, Talk Scholarship Contract

3. Foreign Government Official (A-2)

  • You are eligible to apply for an A-2 visa if you are a civil/public servant employed by a foreign government or an international organization in a non-diplomatic capacity travelling on an official mission.

  • You are allowed to stay in the ROK until your official duty is over.

  • Required documents : General Required Documents (free fee), A document demonstrating your current employment status and overseas assignment, or an official letter written by the head of your organization requesting cooperation (the letter shall indicate that you are on official mission)

4. International Agreement (A-3)

  • You are eligible to apply for an A-3 International Agreement visa if you are a person or an immediate family member in accordance with SOFA Agreement (A-3-3) and Fulbright Agreement(A-3-99).

  • A multiple-entry visa will be issued to an eligible applicant for an A-3 visa.

  • Required documents : General Required Documents (free fee), with

A-3-3(Sofa Agreement) – (A document demonstrating your current employment status and overseas assignment, or an official letter written by the head of your organization requesting for cooperation (the letter shall indicate that you are on official mission), copy of marriage certificate(spouse) or copy of birth certificate(child) if minor child or spouse apply together)

A-3-99(FULBRIGHT AWARD) – Fulbright Authorization Letter, Flight Itinerary


5. Those who posses Visa Issuance Number

- Requred Document: Gereral required document


   6. Workation, Digital Nomad Visa

  • General Required Documents

  • Certificate of Employment (Apostille/Notary Required) 

  • Must be employed by overseas company and have worked in the same industry more than a year

  • Proof of Income 

  • Must be more than double of the previous year's Korean gross national income (GNI)

  • GNI for 2022: 42,480,000 KRW, GNI doubled: 84,960,000 KRW (7,080,000 KRW Mmonthly)

  •  Bank statement, Certificate of salary, and etc.

  • Criminal Background Check (Apostille Required)

  • Health Insurance 

  • Must hold a health insurance of at least 100 million won to cover medial treatment and transportation to applicant's home country
