Hosted the 2018 K-POP World Festival regional Preliminary in Zimbabwe

On the occasion of the 2018 K-POP World Festival, the regional Preliminary in Zimbabwe held by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea on Saturday, 30th June at The Venue in Avondale, Harare.

“Korean cultural waves, or ‘Hallyu’, is reaching to all corners of the world, touching the hearts and minds of the people, from South Korea on the opposite side of our earth to your friend Shamwari here in Zimbabwe.”, H.E. Ambassador Cho said during his opening remarks. “I believe this K-POP Festival will be an excellent chance for our two people to see each other’s warm hearts and culture, and deepen the friendship.”

Throughout the festival, there were loud cheers from the crowd and all participants showed their enthusiasm and impressive performances.
