H.E. Lee Jang-keun, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to ASEAN, presented his Letter of Credence to
ASEAN Secretary-General Dr. Kao Kim Hourn on 31 May, 2023 at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta.
Ambassador Lee mentioned it is a great honour to work with ASEAN and he would devote the utmost endeavours to enhance ASEAN-ROK relations to a new height during his tenure, based on the ROK’s Strategy for a free, peaceful and prosperous
Indo-Pacific region as well as the Korea-ASEAN Solidarity Initiative, KASI, in short.
Ambassador Lee has arrived in Jakarta on 29 May 2023 to assume his post.
