Mission of the Republic of Korea to ASEAN

The first workshop of the 'Critical Mineral Management and Strategy for Sustainable Environment in ASEAN' project, supported by the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund, takes place from July 1 to 5 at the JS Luwansa Hotel in Jakarta. 

This project aims to strengthen cooperation between Korea and ASEAN regarding critical minerals, which are becoming more important in pursuing for eco-friendliness and carbon neutrality. 

In his welcoming remarks, ROK Ambassador to ASEAN, H.E. Lee Jang-keun said this project is not only a win-win for both Korea and ASEAN in mineral development and management, but also represents a significant contribution to enhancing the overall ROK-ASEAN cooperation.
