Mission of the Republic of Korea to ASEAN

ASEAN-ROK Financial Cooperation Centre of the Mission of the Republic of Korea to ASEAN hosted the '2024 ASEAN-ROK Financial Cooperation Forum' on July 4th and 5th at the Fairmont Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia.

In his opening remarks, His Excellency Ambassador Lee Jang-keun emphasized the significance of sustainable finance, particularly the role of financial institutions. He explained that this forum is organized to enable experts from various fields to share their experiences and knowledge and to seek concrete solutions for this issue.

The forum held significant meaning as it brought together experts from diverse sectors, including international organizations, private financial companies, research institutes, and public enterprises, to discuss the roles and practical methods for financial companies to support ASEAN's sustainable development and to examine related technical constraints.
