Mission of the Republic of Korea to ASEAN

On September 22, 2025, the Closing Ceremony of the ASEAN-Korea Football Interpersonal Exchange and Leadership Development (FIELD) Programme, implemented under the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund(AKCF), was held in Seoul.

Minister Hahm Jeong-han of the ROK Mission to ASEAN attended the event and encouraged those who contributed to the success of the programme.

The FIELD Programme has shared Korea‘s expertise and experience in foorball with ASEAN, promoted people-to-people exchanges, and contributed to the realization of the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community. As one of the flagship sports cooperation projects supported by the AKCF, it has provided a meaningful opportunity to broaden ASEAN-Korea cooperation beyond politics, economy and society into the field of sports diplomacy.
