Mission of the Republic of Korea to ASEAN

On 25 September, Ambassador H.E. Lee Jang-keun participated in the 23rd CPR+3 (Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN Plus Three(APT)) Meeting. After being briefed by the ASEAN Secretariat on the progress of the APT Work Plan(2023-2027), Ambassador Lee spoke on how ROK-Japan-China trilateral cooperation and APT cooperation form a mutually reinforcing virtuous cycle, and highlighted that the APT mechanism is unique in its contribution to the peace and prosperity of the region with substantial and concrete cooperation in its 20+ areas of work.
