Entry Requirements (please read below for detailed information)
All international travellers are advised to meet the requirements below to travel to Korea.
1) a valid visa
2) transit without a visa (TWOV)
3) online pre-entry declaration form(Q-CODE)

1) a valid visa
▶ All international travellers need a valid visa to enter Korea, thus are required to make a necessary visa arrangement before travel.
(either K-ETA(online) for eligible passport holders or appropriate visa through the Embassy/Consulate(offline) for those who are ineligible for K-ETA)
▶ * Temporary exemption from K-ETA for Australian Passport holders is in place from 1.APR.2023 to 31.DEC.2024. (Australian passport holders can travel to Korea without K-ETA during these periods)
Korea has introduced the K-ETA(Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) and
Australian ordinary passport holders who wish to travel to Korea for short term(up to 90 days) can now travel to Korea without K-ETA until 31/DEC/2024. will now need to apply for K-ETA before travel.
* visa on arrival is NO LONGER available for Australian ordinary passport holders.
* Travellers with Australian official/diplomatic passport or a valid ABTC card do NOT need K-ETA when visiting Korea for 90 days or less.
▶ With K-ETA, travellers can visit family or friends/have a holiday/undertake certain business related activities/etc. (K-ETA will allow travellers to do C-3 visa category activities, including C-3-1 Short-term visit, C-3-4 Temporary business and C-3-9 Tourism.)

* The fee for K-ETA is KRW 10,000.(equivalently just around A$ 15)
Please be alerted that there are unofficial webpages which charge extra fees.
Thus, please always make it sure that you use the official webpage run by the Korean government.
▶ Those who hold an Australian official/diplomatic passport and are travelling to Korea on a short term(up to 90 days) official/diplomatic visit can just travel to Korea with the passport. (K-ETA is NOT required.)
* Those who are posted to Korea/to be stationed in Korea for 91 days or longer will, however, still have to apply for a A-1 diplomatic or A-2 official visa through the Korean Embassy/Consulate.

▶ As Q-CODE is designed for a more efficient and convenient process during immigration clearance, all international travellers are STRONGLY recommended to complete it before arrival.
