Korean CRIMINAL/INVESTIGATION RECORD CHECK
1. For those who visit the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Canberra
or
for those who submit the application at the Consular Visit
(1) Required documents
- A completed and signed application form
(Fingerprints are NOT required if you apply in person or during Consular Visit)
- A photograph taken within the last 6 months from the date of application (size: 3cm x 4cm)
- Your valid original passport and a photocopy of the passport (personal data page)
- A self-addressed express post envelope if you live in WA, SA or TAS.
(2) Processing time: approximately 1-3 weeks (excluding delivery time)
(3) Processing fee: free of charge
2. For those who send their applications directly to the Korean National Police Agency
* The form must be completed in handwriting.
* Please enclose a international courier service (eg, DHL Fedax etc.) so that Korean National Police Agency can return your Certificate once it's issued.

* You need to complete Fingerprint checks at the Australian Federal Police (AFP) for local police office.

Please enclose a prepaid courier satchel or receipt of international courier service (eg, DHL Fedax etc.) to get your certificate from the Korean National Police Agency once it's issued.

(5) Tip: How to managed to obtain the Korean Police Check from Korea.(About Delivery)
1. Registered a personal account with any International Delivery Service Company(Etc, Fedex, Dhl)
2. Sent the package through online arrangement from the account I registered
3. Received SMS notification from South Korean police when check has been completed (approximately 2 weeks)
4. From the online account, organised return of the package I sent out in item #2.
5. Emailed the return airway bills and receipt to crc@police.go.kr
