Ambassador Lee Eun-yong attended the Opening Ceremony of Caspian Agro 2024 on May 15 2024.
He got acquainted with exhibition booths of Korean Companies, agricultural livestock research institute and smart farm company, which collaborates with Korean companies. He expressed confidence that advanced agricultural technology and products of Korea would help deepen agricultural cooperation between the two countries, given the host country's efforts to diversify its economy through agricultural development. Ambassador Lee also highly evaluated the role of Korean companies participating in the exhibition.
Together with key figures such as Majnun Mammadov, Minister of Agriculture, Goshgar Tahmazli, Chairman of the Food Safety Agency and Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ambassador Lee visited other country pavilions, showing keen interest in them.

17th Azerbaijan Agriculture Exhibition (Caspian Agro) and 28th Azerbaijan Initernational Food Industry Exhibition (Inter Food) were held spontaneously at the Baku Expo Center on May 15-17 2024. Previous year, 31 countries and 479 companies, 71% of which were foreign companies, participated at the event.
Two Korean companies participated at the exhibition: “Baramgaebi”, Co., Ltd Company specializing in the manufacture of fruit/persimmon peeling machines and machinery for fruit trees and “Dain” Industry, specializing in agricultural materials for tree care.
Two Korean companies which collaborate with Agricultural and Winemaking Research Institutes were also present: "Infro" (development of deep learning biometric systems and video behavioral analysis systems) and "Wibiz" (development of smart irrigation management systems).
