Interview of Ambassador Kim Tong Op on the AZTV, "Coronavirus info” program

Ambassador Kim Tong Op appeared on the AZTV, "Coronavirus info" program, and explained the current status of Korea's response to Covid-19 on 24 July 2020.

He was invited to the program due to the great interest of the AZTV to Korea's success in responding to COVID-19. Ambassador Kim highlighted that establishment of legal and institutional base after the MERS incident in 2015 became the core for the success of Korea's response to COVID-19. Regarding the doubts in the privacy aspect of tracing he also explained that tracing is essential to maintain the openness and freedom of the society.
