Embassy of the Republic of Korea in People's Republic of Bangladesh

All Student visa applicants are requested to fill up the [e-Form(Visa)] at the [Korea Visa Portal] website from 4 May 2025. After filling up & print the application form with bar code, the applicant should visit to the Consular section of Embassy with other documents required.

*In consideration of the student visa processing period, travel schedule, and class attendance requirements, 

student visa applications are requested to submit their visa applications at least five(5) days prior to the start of the academic term.

e-Form (Visa)

What is 'e-form' (visa application)?

• An applicant can fill out an electronic visa application form online and submit it to the Visa Portal before he/she visits a Korean diplomatic mission in his/her country of residence.

• In order to complete the application process, you must print the e-form (with a bar code) that you filled out on the Visa Portal (with other required documents) and visit the Korean embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

※ Applicants must visit in person to submit visa application.

General Requirement

1. Visa Application Form with bar code (Fill up and Print from the e-Form)

  ※ Please fill out the form faithfully so that the contents of each form are not omitted.

2. Passport Sized 1 Color Photo of Applicant (Taken Within Last 6 Months)

3. Passport with Minimum Validity of 6 Months.

4. Photocopy of Valid Passport

5. Cover or Forwarding Letter of Applicant

For Student Visa (D-2, D-4) Application

1. Certificate of Admission (Original or Copy) issued by Education Organization/University's Authority

1-1. University Payment Certificate

2. Birth Certificate (Original and Copied one)

3. Family Relationship Certificate issued by City Corporation or Union office(within 3 months)

4. Documents to prove the Applicant's own or Guarantor's Financial Capability to support his/her Academic

   /Living expenses(Bank Solvencey Certificate, Bank Statement for Last 6 months,

   Tax Certificate, Last 2 years Tax Return and Tax-challan (ট্যাক্স- চালান) copy).   

  Guarantor's Job certificate or Trade License copy (Intial and current)

5. Copy and Original Registerd deed( In case of Assets valuation certificate/Affidavit).

6. Parents' No Objection Letter (NOC) regarding the Application and following residence abroad for study

  (No notarization required)

7. Parents' Bangladesh ID cards and Passport copies(if possible)

8. Police Clearance Certificate issued by Bangladesh Police(within 3 months)

9. All related Documents to prove Education Record Certifications with Transcript

  ※ These documents must be submitted both Original and Photocopies by Ministry of Education and 

      Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangladesh (within 3 months). * No need notarized

      And the applicants don't need to attest the documents from Korean Embassy

  ※ A provisional certificate may be accepted in the following cases;

 [Applicants who have graduated within one year prior to the date of issuance of the certificate of admission issued by a  university in korea and who can submit the original certificate when extending their period of stay after entering Korea.]

10. TB Test Result issued by Designated tuberculosis test center (within 3 months)

11. Approved English score certificate within 2 years (TOEFL / IELTS)  

12. Valid Air-ticket Booking Slip

- More than 90 days(Single) : $60

- Fees are non-refundable for cases in which visa processing results are not permitted, cancellation of the applicant, or issuance of a single-entry visa after applying for a multiple-entry visa.
