Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union and Permanent Mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization

Ambassador RYU Jeonghyun of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Belgium and EU and Permanent Mission to NATO hosted the 2025 National Day Reception on Tuesday, October 7, at Concert Noble, which is located in the heart of Brussels.

The event was attended by approximately 500 guests, including Ambassador Olof Skoog, Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs at the European External Action Service (EEAS), and representatives from EU, NATO,  and Belgium as well as members of the diplomatic corps, and the Korean community.

During the event, products from Korean companies such as Samsung TV, Guylian Chocolates, Aurora Toys, and Beautiful Smile Cosmetics were introduced. In addition, a traditional liquor tasting, a Korean buffet, and a performance by soprano Im Sunhae were organized, providing an opportunity to enhance guests’ interest in and appreciation of Korean culture.
