You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are a person who plans to visit Korea on the purpose of travel for holidays or leisure.

※  This visa is not required for Belgian passport holders.

Required Documents

1. Visa Application Form (Form No. 17), passport, a photo in a standard format, fee 

2. Documents demonstrating the financial capacity during the stay in ROK (ex: bank statement) 

3. Certificate of employment or student

4. Round trip flight itinerary

5. Hotel confirmation  *** If you plan to stay at a private residence, please submit a relevant document, such as a housing contract or a letter of guarantee (see attached), along with a copy of the host's Korean identity card.

6. Valid Belgian residence card

※  Important Notice for Foreign Nationals Holding a Belgian Residence Permit If you are a foreign national holding a Belgian residence permit and your permit is set to expire before your return to Belgium from Korea, you must submit official proof of your residence permit extension in order to complete your visa application. Please ensure this document is provided to avoid delays or issues with your application process.

※ The head of Korean diplomatic missions abroad may request for additional documents depending on the condition of the country of residence/jurisdiction if it is deemed necessary for visa evaluation.
