The Korean sanitary authority has decided that all persons (Regardless of nationality) fully vaccinated will be exempted from quarantine upon arrival in Korea as of the 21st March.

※ UPDATED MEASURES IN THE NEAR FUTURE:

From the 23rd of May : I) A negative COVID-19 test result based on an RAT (Rapid Antigen) test will be recognised when the test is taken within 24 hours before the departure date (ONLY tests conducted by medical staff are recognised. NO form of self-administered test is valid.).

From the 1st of June : II) Upon arrival in Korea, it is permissible to take another PCR test within 3 days rather than 1 day.

III) The requirement of a booster shot (3rd dose or 2nd dose for J&J) is no longer in effect to apply for a quarantine exemption for minors under the age of 18. It is enough for them to have been vaccinated with only 2 doses (1dose for J&J) to be exempted from quarantine.

IV) Children under the age of 12 are now automatically exempt if accompanied by their parent who has obtained a quarantine exemption status (Q-CODE Holder). The original guidelines only applied to children under the age of 6.

Details

1. You are eligible for the exemption as of the 21st of March if :

a) You were vaccinated in Korea as a resident.

b) Your vaccination status is already registered at a local health center in Korea.

2. You are eligible for the exemption as of the 1st of April if :

- You were fully* vaccinated in Belgium (abroad), but did not yet register your vaccination information at the Korean sanitary authority. (*You were vaccinated with one of the vaccines recognized by the WHO (World Health Organization),

*◎ CATEGORY 1) with 3 doses (2 doses if the first dose was the J&J) OR

*◎ CATEGORY 2) with 2 doses (1 dose for the J&J) wherein it has been between 14-180 days since the date of the second dose.) OR

*◎ CATEGORY 3) with 2 doses (1 dose for the J&J) + a recovery certificate specifying the date of being tested as positive and the type of test (ONLY PCR-based test types are recognized. NO form of self-administered or rapid test is valid).

▷ If you fall under the category 3, you need to upload your vaccination certificates for both doses to Q-CODE (see below) + You must also present an official certificate to a sanitary control agent at Incheon Airport proving that you were infected in the past. The certificate must contain the information mentioned above (date/test type).▶It is your sole responsibility to take an "acceptable" document that can prove all the required information. Irrespective of this document, you must obtain a negative PCR test result NO EARLIER than 48 hours before the departure date (and upload it to STEP6 on Q-CODE).

PROCEDURE

(VALID FROM THE 29TH OF MARCH AT 16H (BELGIAN LOCAL TIME)

▶ You need to upload your vaccination + PCR test result informations on the Korean sanitary registration system platform : "Q-CODE" (https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr/cpassportal/biz/beffatstmnt/main.do?lang=en)

▶ To be registered with Q-Code, you must input your information by following each step from below :

- In STEP 5, you must upload the file for the certificate of vaccination ※ You can download your Belgian(EU) vaccination certificate on : https://www.mijngezondheid.belgie.be/#/

- In STEP 6, you must upload PCR Negative Test Result, which must take place within 48 hours from your actual departure date ※ You must also hold a PCR negative test result in paper when entering Korea. ※ For detailed information on PCR negative test result, click the link: https://overseas.mofa.go.kr/be-en/brd/m_7440/view.do?seq=748959&page=1

General rules on Q-CODE-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- The quarantine information input in Q-code shall be saved by encoding in QR-Code. If any correction is needed for your quarantine information, you may start from the beginning to input information in the system and receive a new QR-Code. However, the correction of health information will be possible regardless of the issuance of QR-Code.

- If the correction of quarantine information has not been made until your arrival at the Republic of Korea due to an inevitable situation, you must notify the changed information to the concerned quarantine officer in Korea. Otherwise, you may be subject to the disadvantage of quarantine action reinforced by the Quarantine Authority of Korea.

-Input of Q-code may not guarantee quarantine and entry to the Republic of Korea. After arrival, the conditions of entry and quarantine shall be finally determined through evaluation by officers of quarantine control and immigration control in the Republic of Korea.

-If you input false or inaccurate information related to the Q-code, you may incur a penalty or be subjected to entry restriction in accordance with the relevant laws and ordinances of the Republic of Korea. The same law applies when you submit false or inaccurate QR-code by proxy.

-Please show your Q-code (QR) issued after the complete input of quarantine information to the airline personnel upon boarding and to the quarantine officer at the entry inspection.

※ This measure will not be applied to travellers from Vietnam, Ukraine and Myanmar.

※ Children under 6 years old are not subject to this measure, which means they are automatically exampted from the quarantine, if accompanyed by parents with the exemption status.

De Koreaanse sanitaire autoriteit heeft besloten dat alle volledig gevaccineerde personen (ongeacht de nationaliteit) vanaf 21 maart bij aankomst in Korea worden vrijgesteld van quarantaine.

※ BIJGEWERKTE MAATREGELEN IN DE NABIJE TOEKOMST:

Vanaf 23 mei : I) Een negatief COVID-19-testresultaat op basis van een RAT-test (Rapid Antigen) wordt herkend wanneer de test wordt afgenomen binnen 24 uur voor de vertrekdatum (ALLEEN tests uitgevoerd door medisch personeel worden erkend. GEEN enkele vorm van zelfafname is geldig .).

Vanaf 1 juni : II) Bij aankomst in Korea is het toegestaan om binnen 3 dagen in plaats van 1 dag nog een PCR-test te doen.

III) De eis van een boosterinjectie (3e dosis of 2e dosis voor J&J) is niet meer van kracht om een vrijstelling van quarantine aan te vragen voor minderjarigen tot 18. Het volstaat voor hen om met slechts 2 dosissen te zijn gevaccineerd (1 dosis voor de J&J) om van quarantaine te worden vrijgesteld.

IV) Kinderen onder de 12 jaar zijn nu automatisch vrijgesteld als ze worden vergezeld door hun ouder die een quarantainevrijstellingsstatus heeft verkregen (Q-CODE Houder). De oorspronkelijke richtlijnen waren alleen van toepassing op kinderen onder de 6 jaar.

Details 

1. U komt per 21 maart in aanmerking voor de vrijstelling als:

a) U bent als ingezetene in Korea ingeënt.

b) Uw vaccinatiestatus is al geregistreerd bij een plaatselijk gezondheidscentrum in Korea.

2. U komt per 1 april in aanmerking voor de vrijstelling als:

- U bent volledig* ingeënt in België (in het buitenland), maar heeft uw vaccinatiegegevens nog niet geregistreerd bij de Koreaanse sanitaire autoriteit. (*U bent gevaccineerd met een van de door de WHO (World Health Organization),

*◎ CATEGORIE 1) met 3 dosissen (2 dosissen als de eerst dosis de J&J was) OF

*◎ CATEGORIE 2) met 2 dosissen (1 dosis voor de J&J) waarbij het tussen 14-180 dagen geleden is sinds de datum van de tweede dosis.) OF

*◎ CATEGORIE 3) met 2 dosissen (1 dosis voor de J&J) + een herstelcertificaat met vermelding van de testdatum als positief en het type test (ALLEEN PCR-gebaseerde testtypes worden herkend. GEEN vorm van zelfafname of snelle test is geldig).

▷ Valt U onder categorie 3, dan dient U voor beide doseringen uw inentingsbewijzen te uploaden naar Q-CODE (zie hieronder) + U moet ook een officieel certificaat overleggen aan een sanitair controle-agent op Incheon Airport waaruit blijkt dat u in het verleden besmet bent geweest. Het certificaat moet de bovengenoemde gegevens bevatten (datum/testtype).▶Het is uw eigen verantwoordelijkheid om een "aanvaardbaar" document mee te nemen dat alle vereiste informatie kan aantonen, en ongeacht dit hersteldocument, moet u negatief getest zijn op de PCR-test die NIET VROEG dan 48 uur voor vertrekdatum moet worden gedaan (en het uploaden op de STEP6 van Q-CODE).

PROCEDURE

(GELDIG VANAF 29 MAART OM 16U (BELGISCHE LOKALE TIJD)

▶ U moet uw vaccinatie + PCR-testresultaatinformatie uploaden op het Koreaanse sanitaire registratiesysteemplatform: "Q-CODE" (https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr/cpassportal/biz/beffatstmnt/main.do?lang=en)

▶ Om te worden geregistreerd bij Q-Code, moet u uw gegevens invoeren door elke stap hieronder te volgen :

- In STAP 5 moet je het bestand voor het vaccinatiebewijs uploaden※ ※ U kunt uw Belgisch (EU) vaccinatiebewijs downloaden op: https://www.mijngezondheid.belgie.be/#/

- In STAP 6 moet u het PCR-negatieve testresultaat uploaden, wat binnen 48 uur vanaf uw vertrekdatum moet plaatsvinden. ※ U moet ook een PCR-negatief testresultaat op papier hebben wanneer u Korea binnenkomt. ※ Klik op de link voor gedetailleerde informatie over de negatieve PCR-testresultaten: https://overseas.mofa.go.kr/be-en/brd/m_7440/view.do?seq=748959&page=1

Algemene regels op Q-CODE-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- De ingevoerde quarantaine-informatie in Q-code wordt opgeslagen door codering in QR-code. Als er een correctie nodig is voor uw quarantaine-informatie, kunt u vanaf het begin beginnen om informatie in het systeem in te voeren en een nieuwe QR-code te ontvangen. De correctie van gezondheidsinformatie is echter mogelijk, ongeacht de uitgifte van QR-code.

-Als de correctie van de quarantainegegevens niet heeft plaatsgevonden tot uw aankomst in de Republiek Korea vanwege een onvermijdelijke situatie, moet u de gewijzigde informatie doorgeven aan de betreffende quarantainefunctionaris in Korea. Anders kunt u worden benadeeld door quarantainemaatregelen die zijn versterkt door de Quarantaine-autoriteit van Korea.

-Het invoeren van de Q-code garandeert mogelijk geen quarantaine en toegang tot de Republiek Korea. Na aankomst worden de voorwaarden voor binnenkomst en quarantaine definitief vastgesteld door middel van evaluatie door functionarissen van quarantainecontrole en immigratiecontrole in de Republiek Korea.

-Als u valse of onnauwkeurige informatie invoert met betrekking tot de Q-code, kunt u een boete oplopen of worden onderworpen aan toegangsbeperkingen in overeenstemming met de relevante wetten en verordeningen van de Republiek Korea. Dezelfde wet is van toepassing wanneer u een valse of onnauwkeurige QR-code indient bij volmacht.

-Toon uw Q-code (QR) die is afgegeven na de volledige invoer van de quarantaine-informatie bij het personeel van de luchtvaartmaatschappij bij het instappen en bij de quarantainebeambte bij de ingangsinspectie.

※ Deze maatregel wordt niet toegepast op reizigers uit Vietnam, Oekraïne en Myanmar.

※ Kinderen onder de 6 jaar vallen niet onder deze maatregel, wat betekent dat ze automatisch worden vrijgesteld van quarantaine, mits vergezeld van ouders met een vrijgestelde status.

L'autorité sanitaire coréenne a décidé que toutes les personnes entièrement vaccinées (quelle que soit la nationalité) seront exemptées de quarantaine à leur arrivée en Corée à partir du 21 mars.

※ MESURES MISES À JOUR DANS LES JOURS QUI VIENNENT:

A partir du 23 mai : I) Un résultat négatif au test COVID-19 basé sur un test RAT (Rapid Antigen) sera reconnu lorsque le test est passé de moins de 24 heures avant la date de départ (SEULS les tests effectués par le personnel médical sont reconnus. AUCUNE forme de test auto-administré n'est valide .).

A partir du 1er juin : II) À l'arrivée en Corée, il est permis de passer un autre test PCR dans les 3 jours au lieu d'1 jour.

III) L'exigence d'un dose de rappel (3e dose ou 2e dose pour J&J) n'est plus en vigueur pour demander une exemption de quarantaine pour les mineurs de moins de 18 ans. Il leur suffit d'avoir été vacciné avec seulement 2 doses (1dose pour le J&J) pour être exempté de quarantaine.

IV) Les enfants de moins de 12 ans sont désormais automatiquement exemptés s'ils sont accompagnés de leur parent ayant obtenu un statut d'exemption de quarantaine (Titulaire du Q-CODE). Les directives originales ne s'appliquaient qu'aux enfants de moins de 6 ans.

Détails 

1. Vous êtes éligible à l'exemption à partir du 21 mars si :

a) Vous avez été vacciné en Corée en tant que résident.

b) Votre statut vaccinal est déjà enregistré dans un centre de santé local en Corée.

2. Vous êtes éligible à l'exemption à compter du 1er avril si :

- Vous avez été complètement* vacciné en Belgique (à l'étranger), mais n'avez pas encore enregistré vos informations de vaccination auprès de l'autorité sanitaire coréenne. (*Vous avez été vacciné avec l'un des vaccins reconnus par l'OMS (Organisation mondiale de la santé),

*◎ CATÉGORIE 1) avec 3 doses (2 doses si la première dose était de J&J) OU

*◎ CATÉGORIE 2) avec 2 doses (1 dose pour le J&J) où il s'est écoulé entre 14 et 180 jours depuis la date de la deuxième dose.) OU

*◎ CATÉGORIE 3) avec 2 doses (1 dose pour le J&J) + un certificat de rétablissement précisant la date du test positif et le type de test (SEULS les types de tests basés sur la PCR sont reconnus. AUCUNE forme de test auto-administré ou rapide est valable).

▷ Si vous appartenez à la catégorie 3, vous devez télécharger vos certificats de vaccination pour les deux doses sur Q-CODE (voir ci-dessous) + Vous devez également présenter un certificat officiel à un agent de contrôle sanitaire à l'aéroport d'Incheon prouvant que vous avez été infecté dans le passé. Le certificat doit contenir les informations mentionnées ci-dessus (date/type de test).▶Cela relève de votre responsabilité de vous munir d'un document « acceptable » pouvant prouver toutes les informations requises, et indépendamment de ce certificat de rétablissement, vous devez être testé négatif au test PCR effectué DE MOINS DE 48 heures avant la date de départ (et l'enregistrer au STEP6 sur le Q-CODE).

PROCEDURE

(VALABLE A PARTIR DU 29 MARS A 16H (HEURE LOCALE BELGE)

▶Vous devez entrer les informations de votre vaccination + du test PCR sur la plateforme du système d'enregistrement sanitaire coréen : "Q-CODE" (https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr/cpassportal/biz/beffatstmnt/main.do?lang=en)

▶ Pour vous inscrire à Q-Code, vous devez entrer vos informations en suivant chaque étape ci-dessous :

- À l'ÉTAPE 5, vous devez télécharger le fichier du certificat de vaccination. ※ Vous pouvez télécharger votre certificat de vaccination belge (UE) sur : https://www.mijngezondheid.belgie.be/#/

-À l'ÉTAPE 6, vous devez télécharger le résultat du test PCR négatif, qui doit avoir lieu de moins de 48 heures avant la date de départ ※ Vous devez également être en possession d'un résultat de test PCR négatif sur papier lors de votre entrée en Corée. ※ Pour des informations détaillées sur le résultat négatif du test PCR, cliquez sur le lien : https://overseas.mofa.go.kr/be-en/brd/m_7440/view.do?seq=748959&page=1

Règles générales du Q-CODE-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-Les informations de quarantaine saisies dans le Q-code doivent être enregistrées par encodage dans le QR-Code. Si une correction est nécessaire pour vos informations de quarantaine, vous pouvez recommencer depuis le début pour en modifier les informations dans le système et recevoir un nouveau QR-Code. Cependant, la correction des informations de santé sera possible indépendamment de la délivrance du QR-Code.

- Si la correction des informations de quarantaine n'a pas été effectuée avant votre arrivée en Corée en raison de forces majeurs, vous devez notifier les informations erronées à l'agent de quarantaine concerné en Corée. Dans le cas contraire, vous risquez de subir l'inconvénient d'une application de quarantaine imposée par l'autorité sanitaire locale.

-La saisie du code Q peut ne pas garantir la quarantaine et l'entrée en Corée. Après l'arrivée, les conditions d'entrée et de quarantaine seront définitivement déterminées par l'évaluation des agents de contrôle de quarantaine et de contrôle de l'immigration.

-Si vous saisissez des informations fausses ou inexactes liées au code Q, vous pouvez avoir une pénalité ou être soumis à une restriction d'entrée conformément aux lois et ordonnances pertinentes de la République de Corée. La même loi s'applique lorsque vous soumettez un code QR faux ou inexact par procuration.

-Vous devez montrer votre Q code (QR) au personnel de la compagnie aérienne lors de l'enregistrement à l'aéroport et à l'agent de quarantaine lors de l'inspection d'entrée après en avoir saisi les informations complètes.

※ Cette mesure ne sera pas appliquée aux voyageurs en provenance du Vietnam, de l'Ukraine et du Myanmar.

※ Les enfants de moins de 6 ans ne sont pas soumis à cette mesure, ce qui signifie qu'ils sont automatiquement exemptés de la quarantaine, s'ils sont accompagnés de parents bénéficiant du statut d'exemption.
