Two Korean Dramas to be shown in Television Channel RTB 2 towards the end of November this year

An agreement was signed between Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange (KOFICE) and Radio Television Brunei (RTB), giving RTB rights to telecast two Korean hit dramas; “A Thousand Day’s Promise” and “Cinderella’s Stepsister” on Channel RTB 2. The Embassy of the Republic of Korea played a major role in facilitating the cooperation between KOFICE and RTB.

The handing over ceremony, of both agreements and drama files, was held today at 9.00am at RTB Sg Akar. On behalf of RTB, Hjh Hasiah binti Ali, Acting Assistant Head of Programs (Planning and TV Broadcast) received the drama files from Ms. Kwon Ja Young, Third Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Brunei Darussalam. Among other attendees were officers from RTB’s Planning and TV Broadcast Section and a representative from the Korean Embassy.

RTB will broadcast the Korean dramas every Monday to Thursday at 9.00pm and the repeats every Tuesday to Friday at 11.00am and will begin the telecast with the first episode of “A Thousand Days Promise” .on November 23, 2016., at 9.00pm.

The cooperation between KOFICE and RTB, will be further contribute to the already established and strong relations between Korea and Brunei and will pave the way to more future projects.
