The visa will be piloted from January 1st, 2024 to December 31st 2025.

• It is a multiple entry visa and valid upto 1 year from the date of issue.

• ● Visa Fee: $117 CAD for Canadians (Cash or Money Order)

• ● Eligible Applicant

• - Those who have been employed in a foreign company (or owns foreign company) for more than 1 year and are able to work remotely in Korea, and their family. 

• - Must earn more than twice the Korean GNI(Gross National Income) per capita of the previous year as announced by the Bank of Korea, after tax deduction. 

•   ※  Current standard is 2022 Korean GNI per capita X 2. 

•    (One must earn approx 84,960,000 KRW per year or 7,080,000 KRW per month before tax deduction to apply for this visa)

•  - Do not have Criminal record

•  - Has Medical insurance that covers approx 100,000,000 KRW for medical treatment and flight transfer to home country during stay in Korea 

• - Status in Korea: Must not get employed in Korea or conduct profit work in Korea.

● If you used to have Korean nationality in the past,
you first need to file the paperwork to renounce your Korean nationality
(국적상실신고) in order to apply for any visa to Korea.
※ If you have already done this procedure, Please submit Copy of the Family Relationship Certificate (가족관계증명서 상세) and the Basic Certificate (기본증명서 상세) that was issued within 3 months from the application date (If you have reported renunciation before 2008, you have to obtain a copy of 제적등본 instead)

• Original passport must have a validity of 6 months or more left

• 3. One Colour Photo (size 3.5 x 4.5cm)

• White background, date stamped taken within 6 months at the back of the photo

• 4. Employment letter that proves one's current employment and at least 1 year of employment in the past (Issued within 2 weeks from application date)

• 5. Salary, income proof 

•    - 3 months Pay Stub
     - 3 months Bank Balance Statemeny
     - 2 years Tax report (NOA)

•        6. Apostilled RCMP Certificate  (Finger-printed, Issued within 3 months)

•         7. Medical Insurance Proof (including coverage details) that covers approx 130,000 CAD for medical treatment              and flight transfer to home country during stay in Korea

•         8. Family relationship Certificate (in case of family's visa application)

•    *Original Required and (if it is not issued in Korean or English) Notarized translate Certificate in English.

•    *An individual original passport and application is required for each applicant.
