[ Eligibility criteria for application ]

You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are:

A person who plans to engage in a field designated by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Korea for the enhancement of national competitiveness by inviting foreign workers with professional knowledge/technology in accordance with a contract with a public or private institute in Republic of Korea

You can only apply for the visa through our office after you receive your Visa Eligibility Certificate from your employer and/or recruiter.

[ Visa Type ]

Entry: single-entry visa valid for 3 months (you must enter Korea within 3 months of visa issuance)

Periods of stay for this visa: up to 2 years but generally 13 months (the duration indicated on your Visa Issuance)

[ Documents ] Please prepare to submit in the order listed. You may have been given outdated forms or instructions from your recruiter or employer (we have noticed a lot of applicants submitting forms from 2018). If those instructions are different from our website, please follow exactly the requirements on our website.

1. Visa Application form for those with Visa Eligibility Certificate (print & fill out the attached form)

2. Additional Contact Information for Applicants with Visa Eligibility Certificate (print & fill out the attached form)

3. Valid passport (must have a validity of 6 months or more left)

4. Photocopy of passport (colour or black/white)

5. Original Canadian visa (if not Canadian)

6. Copy of Canadian visa 

7. Passport photo taken within the last 6 months

8. Signed employment contract (signed by both the applicant and the academic institution)

※ We may request additional documents if it is deemed necessary for visa evaluation.
