Attending the Korean War 70th Anniversary Event

DATE: 2020-07-14

1. On June 25th, Consul General Chung attended the 70th anniversary event of the Korean War held by Veterans' Association at the Burnaby Central Park Ambassador of Peace. Anne Kang, BC Minister of Citizens' Services, Burnaby Mayor Mark Hurley, and Woo-Seok Lee, President of the Korean War Veterans' Association attended the event.

2. The Korean Consulate in Vancouver delivered hats and badges to all veterans of the Korean War in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Korean War, and POSCO delivered a plaque of commemoration used with POSCO steel to the war veterans.
