Visa waiver & K-ETA implementation
Visa-free entry travelers who intend to enter the Republic of Korea for tourism, etc. are required to obtain entry permission(K-ETA) in advance by providing personal and travel related information online.
※ Please be informed that the Embassy may not have access to K-ETA. So please leave your inquiries through the webpage as below or directly contact the authority regarding its issue.
In addition, starting from July 3, 2023, K-ETA requirement will be exempted for ages 17 years old and under, and 65 years old and above.
Moreover, the validity period of K-ETA will be expanded to 3 years for applicants who apply after 00 hours, July 3, 2023 (Korea Standard Time)

* Those who are eligible for short-term visits (C-3, participation in events or business meetings), but the purpose of short term employment (C-4, for profit activities like commissiong or installation of a machinary, supervising) is not applicable.
Visa-free foreign visitors need K-ETA approval in order to obtain the boarding pass and to enter the ROK. K-ETA is valid for multiple trips over a period of 2 years and the application fee is 10,000KRW/person.
