- Documents issued only in Switzerland are acceptable (For Swiss issued documents only).
- Documents issued in another country must be notarized or get Apostille with one of the languages: English, German, French or
Italian and submit the original.
- Please prepare a seperate set of documents per person if you want to apply for visas for your family members at the same time.
- PDF is NOT acceptable.
1. Visa application form renewed in 2022.
1) Completed, Signed in handwriting and dated on the 5th page
2) Attached form
3) Print it out
4) Address and Contact number in Korea needed
2. One original color photo: Attach the Photo on the section (No. 1 Personal Details) of the Application Form
: Not printed one of a picture file
1) Size: Passport Type (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm)
2) White Background
3) Taken white the last 6 months
4) Taken in a photo booth or a studio
3. Original Passport
1) Original with a scanned copy
2) Remaining validity of at least 6 months
■After applying for the visa, you can get the original passport back on the spot immediately.
4. NON SWISS ONLY
1) Permanent Residence Card valid over 1 year from the issuance date from Swiss immigration office
: Valid document only
-In case of renewal, please submit an official proof issued by the competent authority with the old permit.
Original with a scanned copy(Front and Back of ID card)
- If you have a history of regular renewal, you can apply even if your current card has 3-6 months remaining
5. Proof of current status
One of the documents as below:
1) Employment Certificate or Salary slip issued within last 3 months in Switzerland
2) Valid student card with 1 copy of front & back side or Enrollment certificate issued by a swiss university or school
3) Graduation Certificate etc.
4) Family Relation Certificate issued in Switzerland with passport copy of your spouse if you don't work

※ H-1 (Working Holiday visa) is NOT available at our Embassy according to the bilateral agreement.
7. Proof of Flight & Accomodation for travelers who intend to stay less than 90 days
1) Round trip flight & hotel booking confirmation with applicant's name on it
2) Already booked before visa application considering process period
8. Proof of financial status : Bank statement for last 3 months
: C-3-1 & C-3-9 applicant
: D-2/D-4 Student visa applicant from non-OECD countries
Exempted for students of nationals as below & of accredited Korean university OECD's members (36 countries) who apply for D-2/D-4 visa : Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Germany, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States |

※ If you plan to submit the document of one of your family members, please submit his/her passport copy and family registration certificate as well.

9. Visa fee only in cash
