1. The Jeollabuk-do Delegation (led by Jeollabuk-do Governor Song Hajin) made a presentation as part of efforts to host the Asia Pacific Masters Games in the Olympic Museum in Lausanne at 10:00 (local time), on October 1, 2019. International Masters Games Association (CEO: Jens Holm) selected Jeollabuk-do as a host of the Second Asian Pacific Masters Games, APMG 2022.

* Asia-Pacific Masters Games (APMG) is an international sporting event open to everyone, with the aim of improving health, local development and tourism. The first games were hosted in Malaysia.

2. Ambassador Kwon Haeryong extended his congratulations to Jeollabuk-do on its selection as the host of the Second APMG, and said that the Korean Embassy would cooperate to make the games a successful sporting event in the future.
