1. The Government of the Republic of Korea hails the fair and successful execution of the election of 
Tunisia's National Constituent Assembly with a high voter turnout of 90 percent on October 23.

2. The Government of the Republic of Korea takes note of the latest election in Tunisia, the country where 
pro-democracy movements of the Middle East started, and expects that the result of the election will help 
accelerate the construction of a democratic country in line with the aspiration of the Tunisian people.

3. The Government of the Republic of Korea will continue to support the democratization process 
in Tunisia and further  enhance the friendly and cooperative relations with the country by sharing its 
development experience.
