1. The 7th ROK-Vietnam Meeting of Directors-General for Consular Affairs will be held in Seoul on July 29, with Ahn Young-jip, MOFA’s Director-General for Overseas Koreans and Consular Affairs, and Nguyen Huu Trang, Vietnamese Foreign Ministry’s Director-General for Consular Affairs, as heads of their respective delegations.

2. During the meeting, the two sides will discuss bilateral consular issues, including protecting their nationals in the other country, cooperation on immigration control, and international marriage and children from multicultural families.
