1. The Government of the Republic of Korea cannot but be appalled and outraged over the news that Jordanian pilot Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh was brutally murdered in an inhumane act of terrorism.

2. The Government of the Republic of Korea stands by the Jordanian people to share their pain and sorrow caused by the act of terrorism, and offers its deepest condolence to the Jordanian government and the bereaved family of the victim.

3. The Government of the Republic of Korea is sternly opposed to such acts of terrorism that destroy the human dignity and will continue working together with the international community to eradicate them.
