1. The tenth Republic of Korea-Japan-China Trilateral Senior Foreign Officials' Consultation will take place in Seoul on March 11, chaired by Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Lee Kyung-soo of the ROK Foreign Ministry. Deputy Minister Shinsuke Sugiyama and Vice Minister Liu Zhenmin of the Japanese and Chinese Foreign Ministries will attend the meeting as heads of their respective delegations.

2. The main purpose of the meeting is to prepare for the seventh Foreign Ministers’ meeting among the three countries slated to take place in the ROK in late March. In the consultation, the senior officials will review the progress in trilateral cooperation and relevant projects and exchange views on a wide range of matters of mutual concern, including the future direction of trilateral cooperation.
