1. Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se will visit Japan on June 21-22 to attend a reception marking the 50th anniversary of the normalization of the ROK-Japan relations, to be held in Tokyo on June 22, and meet with his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida.

o Japanese Foreign Minister Kishida visited the Republic of Korea for the ROK-Japan-China Foreign Ministers’ meeting in March. In the ROK-Japan Foreign Ministers’ meeting held on the sidelines of the trilateral meeting, Minister Kishida invited Minister Yun to visit Japan.

2. In the ROK-Japan Foreign Ministers’ meeting to be held on the afternoon of June 21, Minister Yun and his Japanese counterpart Kishida will exchange views on issues of mutual concern, including the ROK-Japan relations and North Korea, as well as regional and global situations.
