1. The Foreign Ministry has issued Travel-alert Level 3 (Travel Restricted, Red Alert) for a larger part of the border area between Kenya and Somalia than before as well as for Garissa; upgraded the Travel-alert Level for Eastleigh, north of Nairobi, from the previous Level 2 (Highly Cautious, Yellow Alert) to Level 3; and downgraded the Level for Mombasa from Level 3 to Level 2, effective from June 29.

2. The nationals of the Republic of Korea visiting or staying in Kenya are advised to check the aforementioned Travel-alert Levels issued by the Foreign Ministry and pay heed to their safety.
