1. The government of the Republic of Korea strongly condemns the terrorist bombing that took place at a voter registration center in downtown Kabul, Afghanistan, on the morning of April 22, local time, and extends deep condolences and sympathy to the victims and their bereaved families.

2. The ROK government hopes that Afghanistan’s general election scheduled to be held in the second half of the year will be conducted in a safe and transparent manner, contributing to establishing peace in Afghanistan.
