1. The 11th Korea-Japan-China Trilateral Foreign Ministers’ Meeting will be held in Tokyo, Japan, on March 22, 2025, with Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul, and his Japanese and Chinese counterparts, Iwaya Takeshi and Wang Yi, in attendance.

° The Korea-Japan-China Trilateral Foreign Ministers’ Meeting has been held since the first meeting in Jeju in June 2007, with the 10th meeting taking place in Busan in November 2023.

2. In the upcoming meeting to be chaired by Japan, the Foreign Ministers of the three countries will review the progress in trilateral cooperation since the 9th Trilateral Summit in May last year and exchange comprehensive views on the way forward for the development of trilateral cooperation as well as other major regional and international issues.

3. On the occasion of this meeting, bilateral talks between Korea and Japan, as well as between Korea and China, are also scheduled to take place.
