On May 16, 2025 (Friday), Ambassador Kim Jung-ha presented the Letter of Appointment from the Korean government to Ms. Kirsi Mustalahti, Chair of ACCAC (Accessible Arts and Culture), who was appointed as the new Honorary Consul in Tampere, Finland.
Honorary Consul Mustalahti has been dedicated to ensuring equal access to arts and culture for marginalized groups in the local community. She has also been actively promoting the Korean language and culture in Finland through her role as an advisory member of the Sejong Institute. Even prior to her appointment as Honorary Consul, she played a key role in strengthening people-to-people exchanges and fostering friendly relations between Korea and Finland, particularly in the field of arts.
Ambassador Kim welcomed the appointment of Ms. Mustalahti as the new Honorary Consul in Tampere, the second-largest city in Finland, and expressed his hope that she will be committed to further advancing the close ties between the two countries in her new role.
