On August 7, 2025, Ambassador Kim Jung-ha attended a symposium celebrating the 85th birthday of Dr. Erkki Ruoslahti, a renowned figure in the field of biosciences. During his speech, Ambassador Kim praised Dr. Ruoslahti’s research achievements and his efforts to foster collaboration with scientists worldwide, including those from Korea.

Ambassador Kim also expressed his hope for expanding cooperation between Korea and Finland in the fields of medicine and biosciences, and encouraged the international scientific community present at the symposium to give greater attention to collaboration with Korea.
