The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ghana expresses its appreciation for the enthusiastic support and we are excited to inform you the details of this year’s Korea Week event.

We are hosting the 2024 Korea Week on the 17th and 18th May 2024 at the ISSER(Institute of Statistical, Social & Economic Research), University of Ghana.

Events for the week includes :［day 1］ K-Drama Show, Quiz on Korea & Talk on ODA

                              ［day 2］ K-Pop Contest & Cultural Exchange

［K-DRAMA SHOW］

As part of promoting cultural exchange between Korea and Ghana, on 14th March, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea signed a License Agreement with TV3 to air 3 Korean dramas. On our 2024 Korea Week, we will be showing an episode of ‘Love in the Moonlight’, which achieved a peak audience in Korea.

［QUIZ ON KOREA］

ㅇ Date/Time : 17th May 2024, 1:00 pm

1. Eligibility

   - Ghanaian citizen

        : individual/immediate families who are not/have not had Korea citizenship

   - 18 years and above

   - Individual who is interested in Korea and Korean culture

   - The winner must be able to visit Korea for the final round which will take place in Korea from 1st – 9th Sept. 2024.

      ※ Airfare and accommodation during the visit to Korea will be provided by KBS(Korea Broadcasting System).

2. Registration

   - Deadline : 2nd May 2024

   - Submit the registration form(attached) to the Embassy email (ghana@mofa.go.kr)

   - Email title must be as following : “2024 Korea Week_(name of program)”

   - Step 1 : Select category Dance or Vocal

   - Step 2 : Pre-record your video

   - Step 3 : Submit application form(attached) with your pre-recorded video

［CULTURAL EXCHANGE］

An exciting chance to experience various Korean traditional culture such as 1) Hanbok, a Korean traditional clothing, 2) A range of K-food and 3) traditional games.
