Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Ghana

On January 29 (Thursday), Ambassador Park Kyongsig visited the project site of the University of Environment and Sustainable Development, an ongoing project financed by the Economic Development Cooperation Fund(EDCF) with the Ghanaian Minister of Education.

During the visit, Ambassador Park and the Minister reviewed the project’s progress and discussed necessary measures to ensure the university’s opening within the year. They also exchanged views on strengthening future cooperation to facilitate the timely completion and smooth operation of the project.

※ The Government of Ghana is currently pursuing legislative procedures to establish the university under the name “University of Engineering and Agricultural Sciences (UEAS) in Bunso.”
