Ambassador Lim Jung-taek attended a launching ceremony, organized by KOPIA (Korea Program on International Agriculture) Ghana office, to release three (3) new varieties of tomato on December 15, 2021. 

Ambassador Lim gave congratulatory remarks and celebrated the release of new varieties of tomato which are adaptable to the environment in Ghana, for which KOPIA and CSIR Crops Research Institute have been in cooperation with each other over the last three years. Furthermore, he hoped that the new varieties would spread in a speedy manner so that they could contribute to increase farmers’ income and to achieve greater self-sufficiency in tomato production in Ghana.  /End/
