On September 4th, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea hosted the ‘2025 National Day Reception’ at the Ambassador’s residence.
Approximately 270 guests, representing the Ghanaian government and parliament, businesses, diplomatic corps, and the Korean community took part in the reception. Among the guests were Hon. James Quayson, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Emelia Arthur, Minister of Fisheries & Aquaculture Development, and Hon. Abla Gomashie, Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative arts.
Ambassador Park Kyongsig, expressed his hopes that the governments of Korea and Ghana, both newly inaugurated in 2025, would initiate a new era of friendship, in fields encompassing political, economic, and cultural cooperation.
This year’s reception showcased a wide array of Korean culture through K-food, K-beauty, Hanbok(traditional Korean costume), Korean traditional games corners, and an energetic K-pop performance.
