Visa-Free Entry for HKSAR & BNO passport holders and K-ETA implementation
Effective from 00:00 on 1st July 2022 (KST), the visa-free entry for HKSAR & BNO (British National Overseas) passport holders will be resumed. However, travelers must apply for K-ETA and obtain approval in order to board aircraft and ships bound for Korea.
The K-ETA can be applied through the K-ETA homepage http://www.k-eta.go.kr, and the K-ETA application for HKSAR & BNO passport holders will be available from 00:00 30th June 2022 (KST).
* K-ETA is valid for multiple trips within 2 years from the approval date and the application fee is 10,000 KRW.

※ Notes
ㅇ For those who plan to visit Korea in July, and have applied for and obtained a short-term visit (C-3-1), short-term business (C-3-4), or general tourism (C-3-9) visa from our Consulate in June, you can enter Korea with that visa granted.
