

2026 Global Korea Scholarship for Graduate Degrees (GKS-G)
The National Institute for International Education(NIIED), under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea, plans to offer scholarships to participating countries' nationals.
To this end, the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong plans to recommend 3 qualified candidates to the NIIED, which will finally choose 2 candidates.
After being confirmed by the NIIED, the selected candidate is expected to arrive in Korea in August 2026.
The Application Guideline is enclosed herewith, including qualifications, required documents, forms for submission, and all other necessary information.

Applicants should submit all required documents/forms to the online application system through the Study in Korea website (www.studyinkorea.go.kr) between 11am on 12th (Thursday) ~ 6pm on 25th (Wednesday) February, 2026.
and interviews will be held at the Korean Consulate in due course (9~13 March 2026) with a limited number of applicants who have met the application deadline and passed through the document review.
It is kindly noted that those who fail to meet one of the qualifications outlined in the Applications Guideline will be automatically disqualified.

* Applicants who are expected to graduate by 31 July 2026 can also apply for the program with a certificate of expected graduation. Such applicants must submit their official graduation certificate and final academic transcript by 31 July 2026.
Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your acceptance.
** Successful candiditaes of the 1st Round Selection will be announced on 17th March, 2026, via "My Page" on the Study in Korea system.
Successful candidates should have a week and a half to prepare their application documents for the 2nd Round Selection, including the required certificates Apostilled by the Hong Kong High Court.
( For Non-government issue documents, applicants have to verify the authenticity of the copy through Hong Kong District Offices' Declaration / Oaths Service, to get the apostille at Hong Kong High Court)
