Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of India

On 30 Sept.(Tue.), Amb. Seongho Lee paid a courtesy call on Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Dr. Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit, and attended a book launch ceremony commemorating the publication of books on Korean language education sponsored by the Academy of Korean Studies. He also had interactions with faculty members of the Center for Korean Studies(CKS) of the School of Languages) and of the Center for East Asian Studies(CEAS)of the School of International Studies, followed by interactions with students of CKS and CEAS.

Amb.Lee's visit to JNU provided a valuable opportunity to take stock of Korean studies at JNU that boasts the largest and oldest Korean language department in India, and discuss potential educational cooperation between Korea and India.
