The government of the Republic of Korea has decided to provide US $1 million in humanitarian aid to support the ongoing relief efforts for the floods in Kenya.

※︎ (Damage situation) 229 deaths, 174 injuries, 74 missing persons, approximately 234,685 displaced persons 

     (as of May 6th, according to the Kenyan government)

The ROK government hopes that the humanitarian aid to Kenya would support the recovery of the affected areas and help residents in the areas swiftly return to their daily lives.
